An Alternative to Receiving Gifts

On special occasions such as

• birthdays
• weddings
• christenings
• anniversaries

ask for donations to steps for children instead of gifts.

We provide you with current reports, flyers, photos or a Power Point presentation. Should you wish we could also send someone to give a presentation.

There are different possibilities how you or your guests can go about. Please let us know before your party which option you choose.

1. Cash donations:

During the party you ask your guests for cash donations (you are welcome to order our donation box). Afterwards you deposit the money that was donated as a lump sum into the foundation account and receive a donation receipt in your own name.

2.Your guests deposit their donation into your private or business account:

You then deposit the collected amounts into the steps for children foundation account or e-mail us a list with the names, addresses and amounts donated of each donor. We will send thank you letters and donation receipts to your guests.

3. Your guests pay directly into the steps for children foundation account using their name as reference:

About three weeks after the party/event we will send you a list of all donors while your guests will receive a thank you letter and the donation receipt.

The donation amount is fully tax-deductible.
