Schoolchildren 2012

Pandulenge Shikondeka is six years old and lives with her mother who is single in Okakarara. She is in a wheel chair. Pandulenge has got three sisters. They are all in school. One of her sisters is also disabled. They live with their uncle who’s very ill. The mother is unemployed but earns some money with cleaning jobs. Pandulenge is a very smart girl. She is quite but if you ask her she will talk. She always smiles and she’s so loving. Pandulenge suffers from asthma and her muscles are weak. She’s intelligent and smart. Because of the weak muscle Pandulenge is very slow at writing. She loves colouring, playing with dolls, playing with a ball and painting.
