Schools

As teacher or learner you have the possibility to support the project steps for children and to include it in your school activities:

Project weeks: Together with your learners you can deal with topics like, for example, Africa or topics like HIV/Aids during lessons or a project week in a vivid way. We will gladly provide you with photos and other materials.

On presentation day you can additionally offer coffee and cake to the parents and the revenues and the donation box will support steps for children.

Sponsored walk: At school events or sponsored walks donations are gathered quickly.

Partnerships: If you are interested we will gladly help you to find a partner school in Namibia. At the beginning the students can communicate via e-mail and later it might be possible to organise a class trip/field trip to the partner project or receive exchange students.

Coffee and Cake sale/Car Wash/…: Several schools used a cake stall at a street party or christmas bazaar at their schools to draw attention to steps for children through flyers and posters and to collect money for the project. Other students washed cars for the good cause ....

Second-hand bicycles: We have just concluded an initiative during which a school class together with their class teacher collected pre-owned bicycles which were then put into a container and shipped to Namibia.
