Sleep in our comfortable guest house in Okakarara next to the project steps for children. Okakarara’s “lifeline” is only three minutes on foot away. There you will find typical meals, prepared right in front of you, the Herero bread and the people of Okakarara who will welcome you with open arms. Our guest house offers one double room with en suite bathroom. The other three twin rooms share a separate bathroom and shower. The rooms are let for N$ 150-300 (≈ € 15-30) per night. read more

From your stay at Waterberg Guest Farm 20% of the B&B rate will go to steps for children as a donation. This way you will help steps for children without paying more. Please, make the arrangements directly with Sonja Klose at sonja(at)waterbergnamibia.com.

In Okakarara itself there are no hotels or guest houses. However, you could overnight at our project house (subject to availability) for € 10,- per night. In 2010 there will be more accommodation available in steps’ new guest houses.

You can also stay at Pamue, a suburb of Okakarara, in the former houses of the white government clerks. On request we can arrange for private accommodation in one of the private houses. As an alternative there is the “Town Lodge” with the flair of a good old youth hostel.

Should you wish to spend a night in Windhoek on arrival or prior to your flight back home, we can recommend an inexpensive and very clean guest house with self-catering facilities and swimmingpool www.rivendellnamibia.com. DIf you mention steps for children when making the booking, they will give you a 10% discount on their already good price.
