Foundation

The steps for children Foundation was founded by Dr. Michael Hoppe in December 2005. Chairman of the board is Michael Hoppe, trustee of the foundation is Stefan Wolfschütz.

The foundation exclusively supports steps for children projects abroad and is the responsible body for the activities in Germany.

The foundation is supported with donations made by many businesses, organisations, schools and private households and is the main sponsor of the first steps project in Okakarara/Namibia. Further projects in Namibia and other African, Asian and South-American countries are to follow and the foundation will take over the initial funding of these further projects.

The foundation is recognised as a charitable organisation and can issue grant/gift certificates. The donations are fully tax deductable.
