steps for children Support Organisation

The support organisation was launched by about 50 founding members in January 2006.

Board members are:

Dr. Michael Hoppe chairperson	Brigitta Joost deputy chairperson	Mechthild Wigger treasurer

The money of the supporters is distributed to the steps for children Foundation without deductions and is used for the running costs (food and drink for the children, employee salaries, water, electricity, telephone etc.) in the projects. The support organisation does not have any administration costs.

The foundation is recognised as a charitable organisation and can issue grant/gift certificates. The donations are fully tax deductable.

You automatically receive the certificate within the first 3 months of the following year.

• to help people to improve their living situation in a sustainable way.
• to help that the projects can exist on a long-term basis.
• to ensure that we will be able to offer education and food to children and youths tomorrow still.
• to instruct and help people to help themselves.
• to contribute to teaching the children and youths in sub-Saharan Africa step by step towards practical project management and entrepreneurial acting.
