Objectives

In order to realise our vision we develop projects which support the education as well as the holistic development of the children’s and young people’s personality.

We teach preschool children, help school learners with their homework, give extra classes and provide a breakfast and a warm meal per day. Additionally, we help the adult participants of the project to take their lives in their own hands and to learn project management and entrepreneurial thinking and acting.

Through the involvement of a big number of young people and adults from the community as teachers, educators, skilled and unskilled employees e create jobs and help decrease unemployment and give the employees a chance to further training and education.

Thereby we largely help people to help themselves. Furthermore our programmes contribute to making the respective location more attractive and more future oriented for their inhabitants.

Through the involvement of German nationals in the development and building phases as well as the running phase the projects serve exchange and dialogue between people. It is a contribution to mutual understanding.

Especially the income generating steps create sustainability which will lead to the projects becoming more and more independent of foreign aid in the long run.
