Target Groups

The foundation steps for children mainly supports orphans and other vulnerable or traumatised children and youths (OVCs = Orphans and other Vulnerable Children) in need and whose situation is caused by HIV/Aids.

Additionally we want to give those youths and young adults who do not have a perspective in life due to their family situation a possibility to receive training and find a job.

And we also support women who are stigmatised, especially in connection with HIV/Aids, and stand little chance to earn their own income.

Furthermore we want to offer as many youths and adults as possible the opportunity to earn their own income by involving them in the building up of the project, keeping it going and the development of new measures (for example as project coordinator, preschool teacher, kitchen staff, seamstress).
