As announced, we would like to meet you on 9.12. at 18.30 greet them together in a zoom call. Not from Namibia, as announced, but from the quarantine in Hamburg.
|
|
Having just returned from Namibia, there is a lot to report, for example that we were able to convince our Guardian Angel children to continue to come to our projects on a regular basis. Or that there are new high school graduates and that we are increasing the number.
|
|
|
|
The pandemic has a major impact on the parents and legal guardians of our children - regular everyday life is also pervaded by recurring lockdowns in 2021, and the income situation is sometimes catastrophic. Our open soup kitchens and the distribution of our food packages are particularly helpful here. But it will also be about many new, beautiful and successful progress made by steps.

The steps for children foundation was founded in 2005 in Hamburg by Dr. Michael Hoppe founded. It now operates at eight locations in Namibia and Zimbabwe, where it is committed to improving educational opportunities for girls and boys from the poor neighborhoods. Over 3.000 children can take part in education and take a warm meal every day at steps and its partner projects.
