Chocolate in a boot on St. Nicholas Day in Namibia? Oh dear! At 32 degrees it would have melted in no time. That's why we've developed another gift idea for our children: tomatoes and chard instead of sugar and cocoa.

This gift is also suitable for you and your loved ones here in Germany: sustainable, delicious and healthy. Below you will find the relevant article.

I recommend the interview with Erika von Wietersheim to anyone who would like to find out more about the completely different circumstances and conditions in Namibia (see below »Successful event«). Her answers as someone who grew up in Namibia and is at home there open up deep insights into life and circumstances on the ground in the country.

I wish you a peaceful Advent season

On 29.11/XNUMX was our general meeting of the steps for children eV association and our first hybrid event. Because we decided to open the event to interested parties and friends of steps for children who are not members of the association or who could not come directly to the event.

It was an evening with many interesting contributions about steps and Namibia, which more than 70 guests listened to - both on site in Hamburg and online via Zoom. A successful event - because the program started with a lecture on the current situation at steps, presented by the founder of the foundation, Dr. Michael Hoppe.
