Another year full of joy: The 8th wph charity golf tournament for steps for children!⛳️

At the beginning of September, the wph charity golf tournament for steps for children took place for the 8th time! We would like to thank all participants and of course the organizers of this unique event. Your commitment every year is impressive and makes a decisive contribution to the future of the steps children and young people in Namibia and Zimbabwe at.

As in previous years, this year a donation to the Steps for Children foundation was requested instead of an entry fee. Another campaign during the tournament - the "50 € per birdie" campaign by ICON Immobilien GmbH - was able to generate further donations. In total, a generous five-figure donation sum was raised, which even exceeded the donation sum from the previous year.

Dear participants, eYour generosity moves us very much,
and we would like to thank you very much for your commitment!

So everyone could get involved - and there was something to win too!

Summer temperatures that prevailed at the beginning of September brought good cheer and joy to both beginners and experienced golfers. There was an opportunity for everyone to get active: a taster course enabled beginners to practice their first tee shots and putts under the guidance of a golf instructor. The professionals fought in a 4-person scramble for places in the gross, net, longest drive (male/female) and nearest to the pin categories and the winner of the small tournament won a handicap course at Gut Glinde Golf Club!

Foundation founder Dr. Michael Hoppe is responsible for the continuous support of the wph housing and project development Hamburg GmbH and their customers are very grateful:

"This year, the charity golf tournament was once again a great success and once again makes an important contribution to the further development of steps for children's sustainable projects. The support of partners like wph is crucial to our success. Together, we create opportunities and prospects for children who need it most."
