"We'd love to do that again." Britta and Marcel Damberg are convinced of our work in Namibia and are once again committed to education and future opportunities together with their guests.
Celebrating 130 years together
Britta and Marcel Damberg have several reasons to celebrate. Together the couple comes to 130 years: 100 years birthday party and porcelain wedding (after 20 years of marriage) and 10 years of support for the steps for children foundation. For the Dambergs, these are three important reasons to celebrate properly with friends and family. The celebration took place in the Chagall restaurant of the nationally known art museum in Ahlen. A total of 90 guests enjoyed good food and conversation in the “most beautiful beer garden in the Münsterland” in the best weather.
The Damberg family has organized a festival in favor of steps for children for the umpteenth time. They celebrated their birthday together 8 years ago and were happy about many meaningful gifts: A birthday with a special purpose
In 2013, Britta and Marcel Damberg were already on site in Okakarara.
A small report from the host couple about steps for children and the trip that has already been made Namibia and at the steps location in Okakarara completed the happy celebration.
Instead of gifts, a donation for steps for children and the children in Okakarara was motivated. The guests didn't need to be asked for long: a substantial donation was made overall!
