The auction lot, the impressive artistic work of the pupils from grades 5, 6 and 7 as well as from the art profile course (upper level) of the Christianeum under the direction of Inga Beyer could already be admired on the walls of the Elbe shopping center two weeks before the auction : Oil paintings, drawings and graffiti of consistently high artistic quality and expressiveness. A large-format work from the center management was contributed to this.
On Saturday, July 8, 2017, it was 15 p.m. After the opening of the auction by Christian Andresen from EEZ management and the project work of steps for children in Namibia by foundation employee Simone Damak, the high school students auctioned off their works with a lot of wit and dedication in the presence of a lawyer.
Our special thanks go to the students. They have released their masterpieces - you have to say rightly - for the auction and donated the proceeds to the steps for children foundation.
Following this successful campaign, steps for children can use almost four-figure donations and improve the future prospects of the children at the project locations in Windhoek and Okahandja through basic services and education.
We would like to thank the young artists and the management of the Elbe shopping center for the successful event.
THANKS FOR THIS STRONG ACTION OF GREAT BEAM! The steps for children team
