For a few days now I have been traveling through Namibia to our steps projects and have a look at the latest developments and buildings, have extensive discussions with the employees and am happy about our bright steps children.
The first meeting took place last Monday, at which the managers of all steps projects, or the projects with which steps for children cooperates, met in one place.
The meeting place was the house of our youngest cooperation partner Okahandja Samaritans Network (OSN) in Okahandja with the manager Maria Khaises and the employees Lea, Elize and Robin. From the other project locations came: Sonja Schneider-Waterberg (Okakarara), Henk Olwage (Gobabis), Susan du Toit (Otavi) and Melvyrine Bock (Rehoboth). Our National Coordinator, Stefan Schultheiss, and I also took part.
Everyone reported on the developments in their project and their specific experiences. Through the transfer of knowledge, the participants were able to learn from each other and thus benefit both for working at their own project location and for achieving the goals of steps for children as a whole. Everyone was in a good mood and decided to inform and exchange information regularly and to conduct this type of project manager meeting at least every 6 months.
I am happy about this promising result of the meeting.

For several days I travel through Namibia to our steps projects and look me the latest developments and buildings on, have had lengthy discussions with the staff and look forward to our aroused steps children.
Last Monday the first meeting then took place, in which the heads of all steps projects, or projects that steps for children cooperate, met together in one place.
Meeting place was the house of our recent cooperation partner Okahandja Samaritans Network (OSN) in Okahandja with the director Maria Khaises and employees Lea, Elize and Robin. Of the other project sites had come: Sonja Schneider-Waterberg (Okakarara), Henk Olwage (Gobabis), Susan du Toit (Otavi) and Melvyrine Bock (Rehoboth). In addition, our National Coordinator, Stefan Schultheiss, and I participated.
Everyone talked about the developments in his project and his specific experience. Through the transfer of knowledge, the participants could learn from each other and so they benefit both for work on their own project site as well as for achieving the objectives of steps for children as a whole. All parted in high spirits and decided to regularly and exchange information and carry out this type of project leaders meeting at least every 6 months.
I am pleased about this promising outcome of the meeting.
