Who is Johanna?

One of the first to start studying with the support of steps for children in Windhoek. In “Who is Johanna?” she introduced herself again and reported on her life so far.

Johanna is in Okakarara, Namibia born and raised by her parents. She has two younger sisters.

"It's so unfortunate that I don't have a brother."

life situation

Johanna lives with her family in an occupied settlement, where they fetch water from public taps. They have no electricity and use firewood for cooking and battery lamps for light in the evening.

"Though life seems a little bit difficult, we have
3 rooms which is more than enough to accommodate all of us.”

School

From the very beginning, Johanna wanted to study because she knows that this is the only solution to eliminate poverty in her family. "Sooner or later, my siblings will always have to be able to count on me as the firstborn."

I like!

"My favorite food is meat and pizza and I like listening to
House Music (South African songs).”

I really don't have much to say about myself. I am hardworking and dedicated to succeed. To be honest, I'm a very serious person when it comes to my schoolwork. Education is my top priority, where I can always do something more to achieve my goals.

"I really don't have much to say about myself. I am hard working on dedicated towards my success. Honestly I am a very serious human being when it comes to my school work. Education is my first priority whereby I can go extra mile to achieve my goals.”

She is, so to speak, from the first generation of guardian angels - we are happy for her and continue to support and accompany her on her educational path, now as a #stepsstudent. 👏
