On his project trip in June 2021, Michael Hoppe met two of our guardian angel children who go to school in the next largest city, Otjiwarongo, and who manage everyday school life here together. The two guardian angel girls are in 10th grade and come from Okakarara. This is the location where the first steps for children project was created in 2006. The sustainable one Guardian Angel Program was launched a little later. Three of our Guardian Angel children have been living in Windhoek since February. You have overcome the first major hurdle into an independent life and have started your studies.

You can now become a guardian angel and give a child from the poorest of backgrounds access to education with € 31 per month.
