Als ausgebildete Kunstlehrerin und -therapeutin sch\u00f6pft sie aus einem reichen Schatz an Erfahrungen. Sie berichtet: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201eNein, Kunststunden w\u00fcrde ich nicht dazu sagen&#8230;. Ich male und zeichne hier in Okakarara mit den Kindern, die zu steps for children kommen. Das sind vormittags die Preschool- und Kindergartenkinder, und nachmittags Schulkinder von Klasse 1 bis 7. Insgesamt besuchen neun Gruppen meinen &#8222;arts room&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stepsforchildren.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/K1024_DSC05881.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5909 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stepsforchildren.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/K1024_DSC05881-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"K1024_DSC05881\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Dieser Raum ist eine Aluminiumblechh\u00fctte auf dem Hof, die bisher vor allem als Lager genutzt wurde. Dank der Spenden, die ein vorheriger Volont\u00e4r gesammelt hatte, konnten nun Tische und ein Materialschrank daf\u00fcr angeschafft werden. Farben und andere Kunstmaterialien brachte ich aus Deutschland mit. Denn Sch\u00fcler und meine Kollegen der Hauptschule Zum Diek in Haan bei D\u00fcsseldorf, an der ich sonst arbeite, gaben mir ihre Pfandflaschen. Davon kaufte ich das Material. Dank auch an Air Namibia, die mir auf Anfrage f\u00fcr diesen Zweck ein Freigep\u00e4ckst\u00fcck.<\/p>\n<p> Nach dem Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck kommt immer eine halbe Vorschulgruppe mit der Assistentin Emily zu mir, die mein Englisch in die Sprache der Herero \u00fcbersetzt. Mir fiel auf, dass die Kinder, die am Ende der Vorschule in der Lage sein sollen ihren Namen zu schreiben, noch viele Schwierigkeiten mit den Druckbuchstaben haben. Aus meiner Erfahrung mit dem Formenzeichnen suche ich \u00dcbungen f\u00fcr die Kinder aus, die sie motorisch unterst\u00fctzen. Mit gro\u00dfen Armbewegungen in der Luft beginne ich.\u00a0Begleitet werden meine Erkl\u00e4rungen und Gesten von Ger\u00e4uschen, manchmal sind es kleine Geschichten z.B. vom Krokodil, das ich auf einer Reise gesehen habe. Hier gebe ich wenig vor, ich m\u00f6chte\u00a0 ihre Kreativit\u00e4t unterst\u00fctzen und ihnen verschiedene bildnerische Ausdrucksm\u00f6glichkeiten zeigen. An jedem festen Wochentag kommt eine Klassenstufe zu mir. Ich arbeite mit fl\u00fcssigen Farben, Blei- und Buntstiften sowie Kohle und Kreiden.<\/p>\n<p>Da sich sehr schnell zeigte, dass alle Kinder gerne Elefanten malen, habe ich das Etosha Projekt begonnen. Mit eigenen Fotos, Kopien und anderen Vorlagen gab ich eine Auswahl an Tieren vor, die im Etoshapark leben. In allen Gruppen wurde eifrig gemalt und gezeichnet. Am Ende entstand eine gro\u00dfe Gruppenarbeit von allen Kindern.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stepsforchildren.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/K1024_DSC07813-etosha-paining-for-web.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5912 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stepsforchildren.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/K1024_DSC07813-etosha-paining-for-web.jpg\" alt=\"K1024_DSC07813 etosha paining for web\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><br \/> Die Stimmung beim Malen ist immer konzentriert, und es entstehen viele ausdrucksvolle Arbeiten. Mir macht es viel Freude, mit ihnen zu arbeiten. As a trained art teacher and -therapeutin she draws from a broad range of experiences. She reports:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8222;No, art classes, I would not say &#8230;. I paint and draw here in Okakarara with the children who come to steps for children. That morning the Preschool- and kindergarten children, and afternoon school children from grades 1 to 7. A total of nine groups visit my &#8222;arts room&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stepsforchildren.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/K1024_DSC05881.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5909 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stepsforchildren.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/K1024_DSC05881-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"K1024_DSC05881\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>This space is an aluminum tin shack in the yard, which has been mainly used as a warehouse. Thanks to donations, collected by a former volunteer, now tables and cabinet material could be purchased for it. Paints and other art materials I brought from Germany. For students and my colleagues of the main school to Diek in Haan near Dusseldorf, where I work otherwise, gave me their returnable bottles. Of this I bought the material. Thanks also to Air Namibia, the me on request for this purpose a baggage item.<\/p>\n<p>After breakfast always comes half a preschool group with the assistant Emily to me that translated my English to the Herero. I noticed that the children who are supposed to write their name at the end of the preschool be able to still have a lot of difficulties with the capital letters. Here I pretend little, I want to support their creativity and show them different artistic expression. At each fixed weekday a grade comes to me. I work with liquid colors, pencils and crayons and charcoal and chalks.<\/p>\n<p>Since it quickly became apparent that all children like to paint elephant, I started the Etosha project. With your own photos, copies and other templates I pretended a variety of animals that live in Etoshapark. In all groups was eagerly painted and drawn. I love it a lot of fun to work with them.
