These activities are well known to pupils, teachers and parents and are an integral part of everyday school life.<\/p>\n<p>For example, an Africa festival organised by the <strong>Class 4d<\/strong> last year raised a considerable three-figure sum for the steps children in Okakarara. These were turned by Mrs Sauer into <strong>delicious jams<\/strong> and sold at the school. Once again, the proud proceeds go to the children in Okakarara.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10433 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stepsforchildren.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/K800_Marmeladenklasse.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>A huge thank you to all helpers, big and small, bush caf\u00e9 drinkers, fruit collectors, jam connoisseurs and facilitators!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many hands for many happy children in Okakarara. The \u201eSchule an der Gartenstadt\u201c is closely linked to our project in Namibia.
