A big thank-you to everyone who made this possible! This gives the project\u2019s total of 160 children more space to learn and play in the cr\u00e8che, kindergarten, and preschool.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 50%;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Milly, coordinator of <em>Bridge of Hope<\/em>, has exceeded our expectations: <strong>instead of the agreed 10 orphans, Milly was even able to make it possible to admit 30 orphans to the kindergarten.<\/strong> 80 % of the children at <em>Bridge of Hope<\/em> are so-called \u201eself-payers.\u201c This means that, on the one hand, school fees for the orphaned children can be financed, and on the other hand, the rent to steps for children is paid from this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 50%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-11023 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stepsforchildren.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/K800_IMG_2305-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-11021\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stepsforchildren.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/K800_BoH_Milly_SW_Fr\u00fc18-8_Ausschnitt-214x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"90\" height=\"126\" \/>We value Milly as a very reliable and trustworthy partner<\/strong>, with a feeling for the needs of the people in Namibia. She is not only the good spirit of Bridge of Hope \u2013 Milly has also been looking after our partner projects for many years <em>Heart for the Children<\/em> and <em>Otto Gamseb<\/em> in Rehoboth. She impresses with her structured way of working and her ability to steer all projects safely through difficult waters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Further expansion is planned for 2019:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For the first time, also at <em>Bridge of Hope<\/em> <strong>9 children in need and especially gifted children<\/strong> a grant through our <strong>Guardian angel programme<\/strong>!<\/li>\n<li>For the children and staff of the project, construction of a <strong>kitchen for soup<\/strong> has also already begun. With this extension, even children outside the project could be provided with lunch in the future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Construction has already begun and is being funded by the <em>Rotary Club Hamburg \u2013 Haake<\/em>.
