With very few exceptions, our short-term volunteers<\/strong> have flown back to Germany or are planning their departure. Our partner organisation for the \u201eworldwide<\/strong>\u201c volunteers, Volunta gGmbH, has launched a repatriation action on the decision of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. At present, the volunteers are waiting to hear how and when this will happen. We very much regret that the FSJ has to end so quickly and that our committed young helpers are being torn away from their work because of the coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteers who were planning to work at steps for children in Namibia over the course of this year and who have already made all the preparations must wait to see how things develop. At present, no statements can be made on this.<\/p>\n\n\n
