\u201eOur town was a little unsettled before the lockdown and we had to find various ministries with whom we could get in touch. It is about continuously feeding the children while acting safely and in accordance with government guidelines. A letter to the government has so far gone unanswered.\u201c<\/p>\n

We are very pleased that in Rehoboth an idea is being implemented which enables children and their families to receive meals despite major infrastructural constraints. In the soup kitchen of Bridge of Hope food baskets are being put together, which needy families and children<\/strong> can pick up from this week. So at Bridge of Hope currently 211<\/strong> children, at Otto Gamseb 80<\/strong> children at least supplied with the bare essentials<\/strong> can be!<\/p>\n

The steps children in Okakarara are currently being cared for on surrounding farms by their relatives. The seamstresses, gardeners and the assistant Sussie in administration, as well as the guesthouse support, will continue to be operated, as these tasks do not yet pose any health risk.\u00a0<\/p>\n
