An incubator is used to hatch eggs, some of the chicks are then sold, some are reared as laying hens or sold as larger chickens. Here we would like to introduce the tried and tested breed in Namibia: The <strong>Ovambochicken<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>They originally come from the north of Namibia, Ovamboland, and typically have red and black plumage. These chickens are characterised by hunting and eating mice and young rats.
