\t\tIn February, some children and their parents were treated to a fantastic show: the kindergarten Boomerang in Windhoek<\/a> in the Katutura neighbourhood welcomed the Fun Factory Namibia! The clown group led by initiator Jana Marie Backhaus-Tors elicited loud laughter from all the spectators and made everyday corona worries fade into the background.

The clowns were also in Rehoboth<\/h3>\n

Also in our projects in\u00a0Rehoboth<\/a>\u00a0they were already active: almost 130 children from the two projects Bridge of Hope and Otto Xamseb were gathered to play and be surprised. An exuberant atmosphere spread on this Saturday morning. None of the children had ever experienced anything like this before, the families' budgets are too tight for everyone and special days with so much joy are extremely rare. All the greater the joy of the children, who watched the show laughing and screaming.<\/p>\n

And in Okahandja with Ileni Tulikwafeni<\/h3>\n

Where normally up to 1,500 children are provided with a meal, in March around 600 children<\/strong> together to have fun and a laugh with the Fun Factory.<\/p>\n

\n\t\tIn addition to clowning, current topics of the shows include rules of behaviour regarding corona - keeping your distance - washing your hands - wearing a mask - and all this is presented with humour and understanding, even for the very youngest children, through games and tricks.
\nNormally, the Fun Factory Namibia keeps sick children in Namibian hospitals company to bring fun and variety to the ward. Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. They are therefore now using their funds for other social organisations - and have chosen steps for children, among others.<\/p>\n

On behalf of all the children of Boomera<\/strong>ng in Windhoek, Bridge of Hope and Otto Xamseb in Rehoboth and Ileni Tulikwafeni in Okahandja, we would like to thank Fun Factory Namibia for their wonderful commitment!<\/strong><\/p>\n
