At the age of 58, Dr Michael Hoppe<\/a><\/strong> he founded the steps for children foundation. Since 2006, it has supported the education of children and young people in Namibia and Zimbabwe and, with its own income-generating steps <\/a><\/strong>such as workshops and vegetable growing help to help themselves<\/strong>. While the pandemic, which is still ongoing, has caused the loss of income sources for many families and the population's food situation is catastrophic.
