15 years<\/b> steps for children<\/h2>\n

Dear steps friends,\u00a0<\/p>\n

we would like to celebrate with you: steps for children is turning 15!<\/p>\n

I (Dr Michael Hoppe) still remember very well how, 15 years ago, I made the decision that I wanted to give something back. The vision of strengthening the people on the ground from within, breaking the cycle of poverty independently and finding ways to become a little less dependent on donations, was developed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We have consistently pursued this for 15 years, and what has come of it can be seen further below. Along this path, many people have accompanied us with their expertise, goodwill and support. Thank you for supporting us over all these years, encouraging us, advising us and standing by our side, and for enabling us together to provide help for self-help to children, young people and adults from the poorest backgrounds. Thank you for your commitment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
