Eine Gruppe von Schülerinnen und Schülern vom Eppendorfer Gymnasium verbringt ihre Herbstferien auf eine sehr bewundernswerte und außergewöhnliche Weise: Zusammen mit Lehrern des Gymnasiums und Vorständen des Vereins Hege Helping Hands sind sie nach Gobabis in Namibia gereist und hämmern, bohren, streichen und schleifen bei bis zu 50 Grad was das Zeug hält. Für die Kinder unseres Projektes reparieren sie diverse abgenutzte Spielgeräte, pflastern teilweise den Boden des Schulhofes und errichten einen Schattenspender nahe dem Fußballfeld.

A group of pupils from Eppendorfer school spends their autumn holiday in a very admirable and extraordinary way: Together with teachers of the high school and board members of the association Hege Helping Hands are they traveled and hammer to Gobabis in Namibia, boring, stress and grind up to 50 degrees like crazy. For the children of our project will repair worn various play equipment, pave partially the bottom of the school yard and build a shade tree near the football field.
