Birgit Eckert, a teacher at the Kita Himmelblau Hamburg daycare center, has not only settled in well in Okakarara, she has also quickly found her place among the youngest steps children, who conjure up a creative Lego brick installation from her. And that’s not all: Even before breakfast, it’s time for gardening. The garden around the steps office is tended by her and Sabine Bohlen-Roß, who in turn trains our educators through the Senior Expert Service, starting at seven o’clock in the morning. The result is impressive!
