In Namibia it is currently winter and it is sometimes very cold. When I was in Gobabis, temperatures dropped at night to –5°C and all without heating. I had, after all, thick sweaters, thermal clothing and blankets. How do people stand it in the slums without blankets and sometimes without a mattress on the cold floor of their barely insulated hut, is beyond me!
The children in our steps-homes families are really bitterly cold and we would like to buy them blankets and the missing mattresses to make the winter months more bearable.

With 480 euros we can provide warm blankets for our steps-homes children. A mattress costs 120 euros, which serves several children as a warm bed. |
