Last Friday week ago, a sports and games day was on the agenda at the Gobabis project site. Early in the morning, the grill was prepared, the children were colorfully painted, the potatoes were cooked, and 3 kilos of mayonnaise were waiting to be processed.

The volunteers Lisa, Janna, Barbara, and Carolin report enthusiastically on this eventful day: „The entire day was superbly organized. Everything was taken care of, even the parents showed up in large numbers and cheered on with their children in the various disciplines, such as apple biting, water running, egg run, and soda keg bowling. The day ended with a joint „braai,“ which here in Namibia means grilling. There were homemade rolls, potato salad, and of course a heap of meat. We came to the conclusion: There should be more things like this!“
