We like to look back on that time of year, when it was also really warm and sunny up north – the fantastic summer of 2018. The Gymnasium an der Willmsstraße in Delmenhorst used it, among other things, to organise a sponsored run. The main responsibility for the fabulous organisation lay with the students from the sports department and the student council, as well as the pastoral teacher, Ms Rohm. The proceeds were used, among other things, for internal school purposes. As in previous years, it was important to the student body to donate parts of the money raised to social projects. A local association and, once again, steps for children, were generously supported.

From Year 5 to Year 10, the pupils ran lap after lap and used the day to work off some energy. As an added bonus, they managed to raise a four-figure sum for the project site in Okakarara, much to the delight of the steps kids.
