It was a particular pleasure to see the vegetable garden in Okakarara during my tour of the various steps projects in Namibia. Thanks to our advisor Gal Sirten and his foreman Paulus Marunga, but also in particular thanks to the efforts of the five women from the community who work in the garden every day and sell the vegetables for their own income and for the steps soup kitchen, a real showcase project has been created there. The vegetable fields are in very good condition. 

 During the discussion, I thanked the women, but also clearly pointed out that we have not yet reached our goal in terms of the planned yields and that further joint efforts are needed to achieve this.

A special delight during my tour through Namibia to the different steps projects was to see the vegetable garden in Okakarara. Thanks to our consultant Gal Sirten and his foreman Paul Marunga, but also in particular by the use of five women from the community who work every day in the garden and sell the vegetables for their own income and the soup kitchen by steps, a showcase is there really emerged. The vegetable fields are in very good condition. 

During the conversation, I thanked the women, but also pointed out clearly that we have not yet reached our goal with respect to the planned income and continue to be necessary for joint efforts.
