A group of pupils from Eppendorfer Gymnasium is spending their autumn holidays in a very admirable and extraordinary way: Together with teachers from the gymnasium and board members of the association Hege Helping Hands they have travelled to Gobabis in Namibia and are hammering, drilling, painting and sanding away at up to 50 degrees. For the children in our project, they are repairing various worn-out play equipment, paving part of the schoolyard and building a shade provider near the football pitch.
