Christmas Light Opening by Tobias Meixner on the 2nd Sunday of Advent this year was under the motto: collecting donations for steps for children. The organiser reports happily:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“We had bratwursts, homemade waffles, mulled wine, children’s punch and much more. An additional donation table was also set up with information material from steps for children and a donation box. We had around 150 guests from Rüdenau and the surrounding area. My father, Bernd Meixner, was Santa Claus; he read a story and handed out gifts to the children (and adults too). A total of a four-digit amount was raised!”

We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Meixner and all guests for this wonderful Christmas campaign! We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Andreas Thümmler, who took the opportunity to double the donation!
