A few weeks ago our volunteers Janna and Lisa started a sports programme in Gobabis together with the teachers for the different classes: „Each week has a specific theme, such as throwing, shooting, skill or team sports. At the beginning of each sports lesson, we play something to warm up and then start with the different exercises. Skill is on the programme this week. With Alisha’s class, today we played a matchstick race to warm up the fingers. Then it was on to a balloon-and-egg run slalom course and a relay race, of course with a sand-filled balloon on the spoon. The children and the teachers have great fun every time, and cheering them on must not be forgotten.“
