Helping other people was at the heart of the 12th Networker for Humanity Day on 10 September at the Harmonie Congress Centre in Heilbronn. Many networkers from various industries and companies came together there, all pursuing the common goal of supporting humanitarian aid projects. Michael Hoppe, together with Dirk Jakob, initiator and first chairman of the association, presented our steps for children projects to over 1,500 participants. Dirk Jakob had visited some of our projects in November 2016 and spoke very movingly about his personal impressions and encounters.

Michael Hoppe emphasised the importance of the steps projects, particularly with regard to „helping people help themselves“. It is important to give people a long-term opportunity to shape their own future. This is achieved through schooling, vocational training and the development of businesses that generate income.

The association Networker for Humanity e.V. (NfH) in Heidelberg collects donations through membership fees and special campaigns and uses them to support humanitarian projects worldwide. Transparency in the organisation is important to the association, so that the largest share of donations and contributions goes to where they are needed most. Since it was founded, NfH has invested in more than 20 projects with over €800,000 and made a difference in the lives of those affected.
We would like to thank NfH for its many years of commitment to steps and for its once again wonderful current support.
