In February, the children of Rehoboth were delighted to welcome a special guest. Reiner Meutsch, founder of the eponymous Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP, and other guests from his foundation visited our two partner projects there. In recent years, the foundation has played a key role in ensuring that „Heart for the Children“ and „Otto Gamseb“ each received a new school building and were able to take in additional children.

The Reiner Meutsch Foundation also recently financed two new classrooms for kindergarten and pre-school children in Gobabis. The great need of the children from the poor neighbourhood of Kanaan caused consternation among the guests. They were able to see for themselves how important steps and „Light for the Children“ are in this place, where they bring about change in the lives of many children.
Reiner Meutsch has worked tirelessly for decades to provide educational opportunities for disadvantaged children around the world. He quickly built a bridge to the children and employees in the projects - the heartfelt concern for the common cause unites them.
