For young people in Zimbabwe, together with Plan International and Stiftung Hilfe mit Plan, we want to create career prospects – so economic youth empowerment!
Through vocational training and support in employment and self-employment
As part of another joint project with Stiftung Hilfe mit Plan and Plan International in Zimbabwe, we are supporting the vocational training of 130 young people. They have either finished or dropped out of school. Their social skills are strengthened through training, and together with them, we identify which fields of work match their wishes and abilities. The young people then take part in appropriate vocational training. A starter kit helps them begin their careers and is intended to enable them to take the step into self-employment. In cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, annual career fairs are also held to connect the young people with local employers.
