„We'd love to do it again.“ Britta and Marcel Damberg are convinced by our work in Namibia and are once again committed to education and future opportunities together with their guests.
Celebrating 130 years together
Britta and Marcel Damberg have several reasons to celebrate. Together, the couple have been together for 130 years: 100th birthday party and porcelain wedding (after 20 years of marriage) and 10 years of support for the steps for children foundation. These are three important reasons for the Dambergs to celebrate properly with friends and family. The party took place in the Chagall restaurant of the nationally renowned Ahlen Art Museum. A total of 90 guests enjoyed good food and conversation in the best weather in the „most beautiful beer garden in Münsterland“.
The Damberg family has once again organised a party in aid of steps for children. Eight years ago, they celebrated their birthday together and were delighted to receive many meaningful gifts: A birthday with a special cause
Britta and Marcel Damberg were already on site in Okakarara in 2013.
A short report from the host couple about steps for children and the trip already made to Namibia and to the steps site in Okakarara completed the joyous celebration.
Instead of gifts, guests were encouraged to donate to steps for children and the children in Okakarara. The guests did not take long to respond: All in all, a considerable donation was made!
