Since 2016, the foundation has been supporting our „Light for the Children“ cooperation project in Gobabis by providing pro rata funding for the soup kitchen, a cook and guardian angel children and orphans in foster families, our steps homes. Since 2018, our joint project with the Hilfe mit Plan foundation in Zimbabwe has also benefited.

We are very grateful to the Ernst Prost Foundation for Africa for its broad-based commitment. Together with us, it is committed to creating sustainable educational programmes for children in need and supports our approach of making the projects independent of donations through income-generating measures.

In 2015, entrepreneur Ernst Prost founded the Ernst Prost Foundation for Africa under the motto UBUNTU. „Ubuntu describes the universal bond of sharing that connects all human beings.“ Enabling a future for children in Africa, providing help on the ground to improve people's living conditions through education and nutrition - this is what the (EPSfA) stands for alongside steps for children.
