steps for children foundation is looking for an intern (m/f/d) in the field of event management
steps for children is a charitable foundation that campaigns for a better future for destitute children and young people in Namibia and Zimbabwe. As part of the internship, we are now offering an internship with a focus on event management. The internship has a Duration of at least 2 months and is aimed specifically at female students in the event management sector.
Your tasks will include
- Support in the planning, organisation and implementation of events
- Coordination and support of participants, speakers and service providers
- Research and selection of venues
- Creation of event materials and presentations
- Support in the follow-up and evaluation of events
We are looking for applicants who fulfil the following requirements:
- Study in the field of Event management or a related degree programme
- Enthusiasm for the organisation and implementation of events
- Motivation to support children and young people in developing countries
- Confident handling of MS Office and common event management tools
- Ability to work in a team, reliability and a structured way of working
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
