Our two weltwärts volunteers Luise Berkholz and Paula Scharfe in Gobabis keep surprising us with their great ideas and activities. This time they planned a photo workshop for children in year 5 under the motto „A Saturday at the lake“.

Luise and Paula report on their workshop: „The weekend before last, we took the children to the dam in Gobabis: 7 children and 4 cameras made the picnic area there unsafe. It was a complete success. They tried out the technical marvel that is the camera without much explanation. Some very nice pictures were taken. The children really enjoyed this activity and all the photos were shown during the afternoon lessons. What a joy!“

We are delighted with such a creative campaign and its success. Many thanks to Luise and Paula for their commitment!

Louise and Paula report on their workshop: „On the last weekend we drove with the children to the dam in Gobabis: 7 children and 4 cameras made the local picnic spot unsafe. It was a complete success. Without much explanation, the engineering marvel camera was tried. Doing some very nice pictures were taken. The children did a lot of fun this action and all the resulting photos were displayed at the afternoon classes. What a joy!“
