We grow vegetables and harvest the future
A look behind the scenes: How Ripura and his team create the healthy foundation for our children's learning success directly on site.
Impact begins where people do not just talk, but get stuck in. Under the committed leadership of Ripura McMillan Hewicke, our vegetable garden grows the vitamin-rich basis for the children’s nutrition every day. Whether through hands-on support on site, the expansion of such sustainable agricultural projects, or sharing our message: at steps for children, there are many ways to reach the goal.
Become part of a community that is sustainably changing everyday life on site and opening up reliable prospects for children in Namibia – step by step.
Growth you can see: Our agricultural project in Ongombombonde near Okakarara. Here we grow vitamin-rich vegetables ourselves to sustainably and independently secure our children’s daily meals. Join us in the video for a tour through the vegetable garden and see for yourself how our team cultivates the land and how the project works on site.
The nutrition campaign:
Growing up healthy in a holistic way
Help in a targeted way with your donation where it is needed most urgently.
A nourishing lunch is the first step – but healthy development requires more. Through our nutrition initiative, we fund the ongoing expansion of soup kitchens, our own bread baking, the care of our own vegetable gardens, as well as training for cooks in healthy nutrition. At the same time, we secure supporting measures, such as daily dental hygiene on site.
Every contribution flows directly into these vital supply structures. If a project area is already fully covered, we will use your donation exactly where the need is currently greatest.
Thank you for strengthening this important foundation!
