16 new Schutzengel children

In Okahandja, 16 children can be especially happy this year – they have been newly admitted to our guardian angel programme in our partner project Ileni Tulikwafeni.
The 16 new guardian angel children are in Year 2 and are lovingly looked after and supported in the afternoon by teacher Bettina Gaebuseb. She is also the one who keeps in contact with the parents’ homes and knows what is coming up at school, so that the children arrive prepared for lessons. She checks that the school clothing is in order and that there are enough school materials available.

The school backpacks for these 16 guardian angel children were provided by the backpack manufacturer SCOUT school bags . Of course, our guardian angel children also receive a warm meal enriched with vitamins every day during school time in our partner project Ileni Tulikwafeni.

They are supported in the classrooms, which were financed last year by the Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP in cooperation with donor Peter Wackel .

Together with project manager Kauna and her parents, the children will be handed over the school materials in the project.

You can also become a guardian angel and give the poorest children and young people in Namibia future opportunities through education and support.
