In Okahandja, 16 children can be especially happy this year – they have been newly admitted to our guardian angel programme in our partner project Ileni Tulikwafeni.
The 16 new guardian angel children are in Year 2 and are lovingly looked after and supported in the afternoon by teacher Bettina Gaebuseb. She is also the one who keeps in contact with the parents’ homes and knows what is coming up at school, so that the children arrive prepared for lessons. She checks that the school clothing is in order and that there are enough school materials available.

The school backpacks for these 16 guardian angel children were provided by the backpack manufacturer SCOUT school bags . Of course, our guardian angel children also receive a warm meal enriched with vitamins every day during school time in our partner project Ileni Tulikwafeni.

They are supported in the classrooms that were funded last year by the Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP in collaboration with donor Peter Wackel .
Together with project manager Kauna and their parents, the children are handed the school supplies at the project.
You too can become guardian angels and give Namibia's poorest children and young people opportunities for the future through education and care.
