Small, lovely Alafia – this time indoors

The Alafia Africa Festival took place again this year. After a one-year break due to the familiar restrictions, it was unfortunately not possible for steps to set up a small but excellent indoor information booth at such short notice and not in Altona as usual this year. The festival was subject to the 3G rules to ensure the safety of participants and guests.
Even though there were hardly any conversations due to the reduced number of participants this year, our dedicated volunteers were very much looking forward to the booth. For an afternoon, they informed interested visitors in person on site and drew attention to our work and commitment in Namibia and Zimbabwe.

On behalf of the steps children and the entire steps team, we would like to sincerely thank you for your efforts, even under 3G conditions, and hope that more information booths will soon be possible again as usual.
