Small and lovely Alafia – this time indoors

The Alafia Africa Festival took place again this year. After a one-year break due to well-known restrictions, it was very short notice for steps this year and, unlike in the usual manner in Altona, it was not possible to set up a small but lovely indoor information stand. The festival was subject to the 3G rules to ensure the safety of participants and guests.
Even though there were hardly any conversations due to the reduced number of participants this year, our dedicated volunteers were very much looking forward to the stand. For one afternoon, they informed interested visitors on site in person and drew attention to our work and commitment in Namibia and Zimbabwe.

On behalf of the steps children and the entire steps team, we would like to thank you warmly for your commitment, even under 3G conditions, and hope that soon more information stands will be possible as usual.
