Moneymoon at the THS

Moneymoon at the THS

Moneymoon in March at the THS in Pinneberg – an all-around successful event! Guardian angels from Pinneberg support 6 guardian angel children from Namibia.

On 21.03.23, steps for children took part in the successful Moneymoon event of the Theodor-Heuss-Schule in Pinneberg. Colorfully and diversely organized by the ninth-grade students, the students' charitable engagement was presented, benefiting various invited NGOs.

Flanked by cultural performances by the students, the invited NGOs also presented their engagement in the areas of social affairs, the environment and global issues, which was selected and supported with donations by the students. Thus, the Moneymoon at the THS not only brought together a considerable number of committed organizations and students, but also celebrated civic engagement.

An evening that inspires hope, especially in these critical times. The steps for children Foundation also received the support of the students, alongside such renowned NGOs as the Jane Godall Institute, the Tafel and the Sea Shepherds . With their donation in the four-digit range, we can finance one year of schooling for six talented children from Namibia's Informal Settlements who could not afford to attend school without this support. The THS school association's “Doing Good” initiative is not helping steps for children for the first time: Last year, the students already supported guardian angel children in Namibia through several campaigns. You can read the article about it HERE.

A great audience of students, teachers, parents and friends, other relatives and members of other organisations supported the event.

On behalf of the steps children on site, we would like to sincerely thank you for inviting us to your event and for your renewed support of the guardian angel children!
We wish you continued success with your fantastic campaigns!
