On 24/01/2016 the AKTIVOLI voluntary exchange took place in the Chamber of Commerce in Hamburg. steps informed as in previous years in addition to 162 other exhibitors about the 6 project locations and the possibilities in volunteer engagement. Overall, the fair was pleased this year to welcome 4,600 visitors.

With many interested people, discussions were held about the areas of graphic design, fundraising, events and office support. There was also very high interest in an internship at the Hamburg office as well as a volunteering placement on site. On this occasion, steps for children also had the opportunity to provide information about the two new projects „Boomerang“ and „Love your Neighbor“ in Windhoek, as well as this year’s 10th anniversary.
We would like to thank all the volunteers who made participation in this event possible through their support. steps for children would not be where it is today – without the commitment and support of many volunteers. The development and progress of the now eight projects would be unthinkable without them. They are part of the success. THANK YOU!
