On 25 and 26 August, the time has come again: the steps for children foundation will be represented with an information stand on Große Bergstraße in Altona at the Alafia African Festival. Once again, our team is made up of many volunteers. Even now, schoolgirl Carina, who may perhaps help out in one of our projects in Namibia herself next year, is busy collecting prizes from the surrounding shops for our prize wheel. A little highlight that encourages people to stop by. In a good mood, the steps team will welcome every interested visitor and provide information about our current projects.

There is also plenty to discover at the Alafia Festival in Hamburg-Altona: our neighboring stalls showcase the diverse continent with traditional local delicacies, handicrafts and lots of music. Here you can find the programme.
