Both began with a garage. 

On 11 March 2006 we started in an empty building in Okakarara, Namibia, with the sewing room in the garage and a preschool with soup kitchen. 10 years after the first step, on 11 March 2016  there will be an anniversary celebration in Okakarara.

That is why, as a countdown to our anniversary celebration, we would like to surprise you with a small compilation of ten years of steps for children through a daily email from 2–11 March.

Sign up for our Newsletter and be there in spirit on 11 March. On that day we will report with pictures from Okakarara on our website and via Facebook live.

Yes, we have already achieved a great deal. We are alleviating hardship, but it is still omnipresent and sometimes almost overwhelming. That is why, in the ten emails at the beginning of March, we would also like to present our current projects and their needs, for which we are asking for support. Donations are possible via our online form and for the projects listed there, or via our bank details.

I am delighted to have each and every one of you on board as companions along the way, whether with your good thoughts or through a helpful donation.
