Celebrate empowerment and celebrate your birthday with steps for children! Ask the guests at your birthday party for donations instead of gifts. This is how you help young people in Namibia to have a chance at a life worth living through steps for children.

We have put together a few points to guide you if you would like to celebrate your birthday with a campaign for steps for children:

1. Include a note on your invitation card saying that this year you would like meaningful gifts wish for things that contribute sustainably to positive change, educational opportunities and future prospects.
2. Write the steps for children donation account on your invitation card and a clear keyword, for example „Martin Müller’s birthday“.
3. Have you decided on a specific donation purpose to be supported by the donations? If you do not make a selection, the donations will be used where they are particularly needed. However, you are also welcome to make a of our donation requirements choose, such as guardian angel children or meals.
4. You can also ask us to create a fundraising campaign for you, so that you only need to send your guests a link or QR code. Or you can create your own fundraising campaign!
5. We can also provide flyers, stickers and posters, as well as small, lovely products from our sewing workshop in Okakarara, Namibia.
6. Share news of your campaign on your social media channels. Send us a photo of your birthday party, and we can feature you in our media.
7. Visit our steps facilities in Namibia and get to know us on site. This is the best way to convince your guests!
8. We will be happy to help you with thanking your guests and send you a report about how the birthday donations were used.

The steps for children foundation empowers children and young adults in southern Africa to break the cycle of poverty on their own through education and training. We create income opportunities that secure people's livelihoods in the long term. In the long term, our activities should be financially self-sustaining.
